Creativity is important in the workplace because it helps people devise innovative solutions to problems. Further, it’s a skill set that can’t be replaced by automation. Today, anything that can be automated either is or will be soon, but technology can’t be creative. Companies don’t want someone who can do a process-oriented task; they want someone who can dream up a way to fix the projects at hand. They want innovative, better solutions. In other words, they want creativity.
